- The Ministry of Truth uses the media to control people's ideas. How does it do this?

1) News help us to understand all the things that happens in a society. If the media lies about something you will have a fake idea of the reality. In the book, it seems that there is only one newspaper and it's controlled by the Government.
ResponderEliminarIf the Government says something people would believe it, because they don't have another newspaper to compare if that's true or not, they would accept it.
The Ministry of Truth control people's ideas because they control all the news and they change them.
2) At the beginnig he doesn't like the girl because she looks pretty and young. But them it seems that he is interested in one of them
1)The Ministry of Truth has many ways to change the ideas of the people, they change the newspapers to make look that Big Brother is always right. and if he is always right what is the reason of complain about?.

and leave fakes copies of that way they change the past of the people and they cant know what is true and what is a lie
2) For some reason Winston was angry with them, and he never loved anyone of them

1) they create a new lenguage call "newspeak", so they can demostrate the power that they have.

1) They re-write newspapers to make people believe that Big Brother it's always right, it uses a "telescreen" to show bad things against their enemies so it makes people hate to them.

1)The Ministry of Truth has complete control of the media, they write and rewrite everything that the people read or saw.In this way they can manipulate people to make them believe and obey the party.

1) The Party controls people's ideas by showing in the media what they want that people belive. The ministry of truth had to make big brother look perfect by rewriting his wrong speeches. The book tells that every day nwespapers, magazines, photograps, films, posters and books were all changed. All the past was changed so the party had always been right
