  1. 5- In the beginning he doesn`t like Julia but after their first meeting he starts to love her, and at the end of this chapter he falls in love with her.

6- It depends on the personality of everyone, some pople aren`t open minded and they never change their ideology or thoughts, but other people are very influenced by others and they change their mind and ideas easily

  2. 1) At fist, Winston thought that he would never find real love again because it was forbidden and the duty of woman was making children, and because he said about himself that he was like a very old man with phisical problems like his knee so the girls wouldn't like his appearence; but when he met Julia for first time he start to think about her all time so he loved her and at the ending of the chapter he falled in completed love with her because it gave sense to his bored and contoled life.

    2) Maybe. I think that it depends of the topic in question and how strong our personalty is.

  3. 1) Before Julia gave Winston the note, he hate her because he thought that she was a member of the Party; but when he read the note he believe her and he feels good and when they meet, he begin to feel strong feelings towards her because she is very pretty and she is the only person at the moment who is against the Party.

    2) Yes, they can make you change your feelings or beliefs but with rational arguments, not with concepts like "war is peace" or "freedom is slavery", everyone knows that is unreal. I think it depends for the personality for each one too.
